Do you have a passion for LAN parties? Are you a people person? Maybe you have special skills? We want you to volunteer to help with LANcouver 2015! Everyone involved is a volunteer – even the organizers – and with your assistance we can make this event as amazing as possible.
What we’re looking for: Talented, outgoing, and friendly individuals who have an interest in LAN parties and who want to help make LANcouver amazing!
Positions we have to fill: Door staff, security, tournament marshalls, setup/take down crew, booth staff, graphic designers, and more! Some positions will be overnight or late night.
Benefits: Volunteers who help for a minimum of 8 hours during the event will receive a 50% discount on their BYOC pass. Other positions may entitle you to a fully discounted BYOC pass. We can also sign off on school work experience programs.
How to apply: Send an email to info@LANcouver.com and tell us about yourself. You can mention previous LAN or event experience, what your current job or schooling is (if it relates to the event) and your age. Tell us how much you love LAN parties and what you want to do to help! If you are a graphic designer or other creative individual please send us links or samples of your work. Please make sure you let us know what your availability is over the event weekend – we have some positions which run overnight or late night. Only being available for one day doesn’t mean we don’t need you!
